5R Memphis opened in January 2004 as a triage facility to service customers in the Mid-South states including West Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.

In approximately 14,000 square feet of warehouse space, the staff sorts, bar codes, evaluates equipment for test, or "end-of-life" processing, and prepares material for shipment to the 5R Clinton facility for further processing.

The facility is equipped to accept obsolete electronic equipment from businesses, individuals, and is open to the general public. The warehouse also doubles as a temporary storage facility for recyclable materials bound for other 5R Processor sites where equipment is given a second life.

All 5R locations work together to provide the best possible customer service.
