As of September 2010 the State of Wisconsin bans certain electronics from entering our landfills. Wisconsin joins more than 20 states that have passed similar legislation to protect our environment from thousands of pounds of discarded electronics. State Take Back Programs, such as eCycle Wisconsin, encourage manufacturers to reuse or recycle electronics whenever possible.
